Welcome to our class website!Hello! My name is Rachel Becker and I am currently studying History Secondary Education with a Social Studies minor at Salisbury University. I am from Perry Hall, Maryland. I love anything to do with food, the beach, running, crafting, the ravens, the orioles and playing sports. I have one sister who currently a senior in high school and will hopefully attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall. My 3 absolute best friends in the world two twins and the other is at school with me in Salisbury, they have become more like family to me, I would do anything in the world for them. My goal for after graduating is to teach American Government or U.S History. I want to inspire kids to love history and to want to learn more about how our country came to be what it is as well as the rest of the world.

Katrin Becker is an internationally known expert in the design and analysis of Serious Games. With over 30 years of teaching experience in Science, Engineering, Education, and Art, she has taught computer science, videogame design, digital game-based learning, and technical writing. I am very excited to be teaching ESOL 2 Literature this year. Together we will explore novels, short stories and poems. We will discover the components of a story, identify the main ideas and themes, and make connections to the world around us.
