DakStats Sports Software. DakStats sports software is the ultimate tool for managing game, season, and career statistics. From high schools to the major leagues, users of any skill level can quickly track game stats and compile detailed reports with DakStats. This is awesome - i use it to overlay on snooker games - I basically have the text files in a dropbox folder which updates on my streaming laptop. Problem is that i have to have a computer in the room to run the scores etc. It would be AWESOME if there was an app for android that worked around the table! What it does ?
Simple, it edit (or creat if doesn't exist) the content of a simple xml/text file in real time. Why? To live edit a text overlay in Xsplit or Open Broad Caster (OBS). Usefull if we need to quick update a score or text eg. for Vs fighting games overlay.
All game settings are controlled through a Settings Window in each SportApp. From this dialog you can select the appropriate League to apply game rules. Select preloaded Home and Visitor Teams and utilize our easy add, delete or edit team dialog for quick game day changes.
How to use :

- Place the .exe where you want and launch it.
- Chose first the methode :
* Folder (For OBS or Xplit) : All data will be stored in separated txt files in a folder.
- Since this kind of tool is usefull for Versus games, there a 6 informations stored in the file(s) :
* Player 1 Score (<scrP1>)
* Player 2 NickName (<P2>)
* Player 2 score (<scrP2>)
* Label (<label>)
* Miscellaneous (<misc>)
* In OBS :
+ Enter the label for this text area (eg. 'Player 1 nickname' or what you want)
+ Select 'Use Text From File'
+ Browse for the txt file in the SBE folder (same location as the exe file). eg. 'P1.txt' (if the file doesn't exit click on the update button in SBE. It will now be created)
+ Configure the Font/Size/Solor/.... for the text.
+ Click Ok
+ Select 'Remote Text Update'
+ Set the refresh interval to 1 or 2 sec
+ put the url of the xml or txt file in the 'Remote Url' form. eg. 'C:StreamSBEscrP2.txt' or 'C:Streamscoreboard.xml' if the SBE exe is in the 'C:Stream' folder
+ If you use file methode enter the xml tag to select the desired information. eg. if you want to display the Player 2 score, use the <scrP2> and </scrP2> tags. (Case sensitive!)
+ If you use folder methode empty the 2 tags forms.
+ Configure the Font/Size/Solor/....
+ Click Ok
Rem :- 'Auto Update' check box willautomatically push the update button when another button is pushed (+/-/switch/reset/...)

The Guru's Baseball Data Archive
You want numbers? Here's free access to the Guru's Private Stock in downloadable spreadsheet form. How it works: Enter the 'Base' (such as AB or IP) and the 'Result' (such as hits or earned runs) for 'Player 1' and 'Player 2.' The Sporting News, Vault - A baseball archive of unexpected delight. You'll find history and box scores of every all-star game and world series. The history of the little league world series with yearly summaries, records and photos. They also share photos, letters and the like from Hall of Famers. It's lot's of fun.
CBS Sportsline - The mother of all baseball stat 'display' sites, but nothing to download. Very commercial.

CNN/SI (profiles and statistics) - Only updated through 2001, but has baseball historical profiles and basic yearly statistics, listed alphabetically by player's last name, presented by CNN and Sports Illustrated.
USA Today - Has hard to find Spring Training data since 1992. Not updated regularly.
MSNBC - All data by STATS inc. Player Stats / Team Stats / Player Rankings
